To Cody Hines and Maygen Pierce, I just wanted to say I''m truly sorry for your loss. No parent should ever have to experience this type of loss. Death is such a difficult concept to accept simply because God did not purpose this for us. For that reason, we will never be able to accept it. God actually hates death and calls it an enemy. Very soon He will stop it once and for all. (1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 28:5). The true comfort comes from God, "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds."(Psalms 147:3) and in the future "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Rev 21:4. So trust in him so that he can provide you the comfort that is needed during this difficult time. My sincere condolences and may you find comfort in these words.
