Pamela K. “Pammy” (Westenhaver) Maddux, age 61, passed away all too soon on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home in Nashville.
Pammy was born November 25, 1956 in Indianapolis to the late Elmer E. and Margaret Ann (McDonald) Westenhaver. Pammy retired in 2009 from the Brown County Inn where she had been the Restaurant Supervisor & Cook for more than twenty years. She carried her talent for food over to her family life where meatloaf & baked macaroni & cheese were a favorite of all who shared their table.
Pammy had a big heart and loved many things, including her cats, dogs, ducks, cockatiels and fish, all which were named. She enjoyed reading Women’s Day & Better Homes & Gardens magazines, shopping, cooking & making crafts and jewelry. Pammy was entertained by the Chiller Channel and other crime & mystery shows. She felt her best when spending time outdoors in the sun and tending to her flower garden.
She will be missed by her loving and devoted husband, Bruce W. Maddux; daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” (Wayne E. Hopper) Perry who she lovingly called “Angel”; siblings, Evelyn Pope of Indianapolis & Richard “Rick” (Karen Stevens) Westenhaver of Bloomington and many nieces & nephews.
Pammy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Lynn “Patty” Weber and her beloved dog “Abou”.
