Marvin L Sanders

July 6, 1957 - March 15, 2016

Marvin L. Sanders, age 58, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, March 15, 2016 at the Franciscan St. Francis Health Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Mooresville.

Marvin was born on July 6, 1957, in Johnson County to Leslie Marlow and Lois M. (Porter) Sanders. He was of 1975 graduate of Brown County High School. Marvin married Pamela “Pam” J. Haugh on April 27, 1977 in Morgantown. She survives after 38 loving years of marriage.

Marvin worked at Wooleys Lumber Yard in Mooresville for over 15 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors.

He will be missed by his wife: Pam, parents Marlow and Lois Sanders, children: Steven Brummett, Elizabeth (Ron) Tompkins, Brian (Fiancé Melissa Scott) Sanders; grandchildren: Jason, Kristen, Julianne, Braxton, Brooklyn, MacKenzie, Gabe, David, Dylan, Mason and 1 great-grandchild; Elizabelle Desire; brothers: Dennis (Debbie) Sanders, Roy (Sherri) Sanders and Terry (Teresa) Sanders, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandchild: Dylan Sanders.

The Rev. Raymond Dupree will conduct a funeral service at 1p.m. on Monday, March 21st at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Brooklyn Cemetery in Brooklyn.
