Donald E. "Donnie" Miller, age 59, passed away Sunday morning, January 26, 2014 at home in Brown County.
He was born September 4, 1954 in Beech Grove to the late South and Jean (Cook) Miller. He married Carrie M. (Green) Miller on September 4, 1982 at the Brown County State Park in Nashville. She survives after 31 loving years.
Other survivors include his children: Annette Miller of Temple, GA, David Miller of Mooresville, Crystal (Travis) Huber and Tammie Miller, both of Brown County. He will be remembered by his brothers: South L. (Martha) Miller of Indianapolis, Raymond Miller of Brown County, Roy (Joann) Copeland of West Virginia, Billy (Alicia) Ford of Mishawaka and Billy Wilkerson of Brown County; and five grandchildren: Kiethen Gabriel, Jordan, Jacob, Brittany and Maelea Miller.
Donnie is preceded in death by a sister: Priscilla Sloan; one brother: Bobby Gene Ford; and a grandson: Colten Huber.
Donnie was employed as an automobile mechanic working most recently for Freight Liner in Indianapolis. He was a member of ABATE and enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and deer hunting. Donnie was a fan of Western movies, Ford automobiles and NASCAR with his favorite driver being Rusty Wallace. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and spending time with his dog "Sugar."
The Rev. Darrel Miller will conduct a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
