Vickie Lynn (Cline) Roberts

Vickie Lynn (Cline) Roberts, age 59, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, October 24, 2015 at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. She was a resident of Martinsville.

Vickie was born May 7, 1956, in Franklin, to the late Russell P. Cline and Phyllis Irene (Smith) Doty. She was a 1976 graduate of Indian Creek High School. Vickie married George Carroll Roberts in May, 1981 in Morgantown. He preceded her in death in 1994 after 13 devoted years of marriage.

Vickie enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping. She also liked tending to her garden and watching NASCAR with Tony Stewart being her favorite driver. Vickie also enjoyed attending Native American festivals throughout the United States.

Vickie will be missed by her sisters: Debra Reynolds of Morgantown and Nancy Annette (Scott) Duke of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, and sister: Russanna Cline.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th at the Morgantown Baptist Church: 109 West Elm Street in Morgantown. Cremation Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, in Morgantown.
