Sharon Kay (Harvey) Harding, age 77 passed away peacefully on Monday morning, November 3, 2014 at her home in Nashville. By her side, was her loving husband, Richard Glenn 'Dick' Harding Jr., whom she married on September 4, 1959 in Indianapolis, and their children, Sarah Jo (Mike Becraft) Bonham of Seymour and Richard Charles (Debbie) Harding of Nineveh.
She was born in Indianapolis on February 24, 1937 and was a 1954 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. Sharon retired as a Court Reporter for Brown County Circuit Court System after 23 years of service.
Sharon is also survived by her grandchildren: Thessaly Beasley of Norfolk, VA, Justine & Allen Beasley both of Brown County, Jessica & Nick Harding both of Nineveh; great grandchildren: Emma, Maddy, Kameron and Karter; and half-sisters: Jan and Carol both of California.
She was preceded in death by her father: John Harvey and her mother and step-father: Ruth Audrey (Michael) Donski; sister: Judith May Ropp; and a great grandson: Ethan Allender.
Sharon was a member of the Nashville Christian Church. She felt the most at peace while walking on the beach and gathering shells while wintering at Panama City Beach, FL with her husband. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fishing, gardening and also feeding the special coy fish in her lake.
The Rev. L.D. Campbell will conduct a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15th at the Nashville Christian Church, 160 S. Van Buren St. in Nashville. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
