Ruth Marie (Paris) Reynolds, age 83, passed away Monday morning, December 14, 2015 at her home in Whiteland.
She was born on May 31, 1932, in Johnson County, to Russell A. and Florence Marie (Doty) Paris. Ruth was a 1950 graduate of Union High School and went on to marry Martin T. Reynolds on June 15, 1950 in Martinsville. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1991 after 41 loving years of marriage.
She retired in 1992 as a cook for the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, traveling, cooking and watching the Hallmark & Lifetime channels. She was an avid Indiana Pacer & Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed collecting spoons.
Ruth is survived by her children, Patricia A. (Henry) Lipe of Greenwood and Jacqueline M. Ballenger both of Greenwood and Larry W. Reynolds of Whiteland; twin brother, Richard Paris of Scottsburg; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren & three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Michael T. Reynolds and a sister, Florence Jean Waltz.
The Rev. Ken Smith will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center located at 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
