Rosita M. (LaBach) Robertson passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, August 24, 2013 at the age of 96. She was a resident of Nashville.
Rosita was born on July 7, 1917 in Homestead, PA to the late Joseph and Illona (Havrilla) LaBach. She married Charles T. Robertson on January 6, 1945 in Columbus. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1993 after 49 years loving years of marriage.
Rosita retired in 1993 as the Bookkeeper for Schooner Valley Stables in Nashville. Prior to that, she was the owner and operator of One Stop Dry Cleaning in Nashville from 1959 to 1971.
Survivors include two sons: Mike J. (Jenny) Robertson of Nashville & Jonathan C. (Vickie) Robertson of Mesa, AZ; and one daughter: Pamela M. (Vid) Warren of Nashville. Rosita will be remembered by her brother: William LaBach of McKees Rocks, PA; eight grandchildren: Chuck (Rachel) Robertson, Joe (Charrise) Robertson both of Nashville, Sabrina (Lee) Mantle of Cincinnati, OH, Triana (Brian) King of Nashville, Alana (Josh) Mason of Newport, NC, Adam (Jennifer) Tyskiewicz of Sweetwater, Luke (Christina) Robertson of Nashville & Rusty (Sean) Reese of Oceanside, CA; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son: Randy R. Robertson; one grandson: Jeremiah Robertson; four brothers: Joseph, John, Frank, and Ed LaBach; and three sisters: Elizabeth Antom, Margie Walton & Elanore Scwecki.
Rosita was a 77 year member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. She enjoyed braiding rugs, quilting, sewing, crocheting & knitting. Rosita provided for her family by raising everything her family ate on her farm and even made her son's suits from scratch. She was an avid reader of gardening books, cookbooks and scripture. Rosita enjoyed listening to Hungarian music, violin and piano music as well.
Minister Jeffrey Spann will conduct a Memorial Service on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Nashville Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 2123 Greasy Creek Road in Nashville. The memorial service will also be simulcast live at Mikes Dance Barn, 2277 St. Rd. 46 W. in Nashville with a gathering of friends and family following the service. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization center in Morgantown.
