Patricia "Pat" A Walters

Patricia "Pat" A. (Alexander) Walters, age 66 passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Franklin Meadows in Franklin. She was a resident of Morgantown.

Pat was born September 12, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late James Alexander and Barbara (Childers) Hoagland.

Pat was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness at South Meridian and Banta in Indianapolis. She enjoyed cooking, playing the guitar and singing music from the 1950's. Pat enjoyed drawing, sketching, writing songs, listening to music and playing cards, especially canasta and euchre. She also enjoyed activities such as bowling, dancing and fishing; but most of all, Pat loved spending time with her family.

Pat is survived by her daughters: Tina, husband Robert Spradlin of Morgantown; Dawn Musante of Frankfort; son: Robert, wife Melissa Hampshire of Morgantown; sister: Judith, husband Gary Tomey of New Port Richey, Florida; brother: Greg Hoagland of Wiggins, Mississippi; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pat is preceded in death by her stepfather: Lewis Hoagland; and brothers: Curtis Alexander and Daniel Hoagland.

A funeral service will be conducted at noon on Saturday, July 26th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

I knew Pat when I was younger. I use to run around with Gary and Gary and Judy sttod up for my wife (Stella Joan) when we got married. We always asked Judy and Gary how Pat was doing and we prayed for her often. We will miss her very much. She is deeply loved by all. We are so sorry for your loss. We will be at the funeral tomorrw.
