Patricia L. (Eastwood) Huffman, age 69, passed away Wednesday evening, August 17, 2016 at IU Health – Morgan in Martinsville. She was a resident of Martinsville.
Patricia was born on July 12, 1947 in Lafayette to the late William H. and Martha L. (Darling) Eastwood. She was a graduate of Indian Creek High School and retired in 2009 from Housekeeping at the Abe Martin Lodge of the Brown County State Park.
Patricia enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible and Christian books and caring for animals. She was a fan of the Andy Griffith Show, Magnum P.I. and the Little House on the Prairie. Patricia enjoyed traveling with her husband and was able to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder Homestead in De Smet, South Dakota. She loved her family and cherished her time spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Oliver E. Huffman, whom she married on November 29, 1975 in Morgantown. Patricia is also survived by her children, Tamera (Bob) Prather of Martinsville, Angela Burnette of Bloomington and Heather (Michael) Spicer of Morgantown; siblings, Jo Ann (Ted) Clephane of Morgantown, William M. Eastwood of Crossville, Tenn., Robert E. Eastwood of Brown County, Wesley S. Eastwood of Columbus and Michael A. Eastwood of Brown County; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and another great grandson on the way.
She was preceded in death by siblings, June Hutchison, Leota Rosita Hudson and David B. Eastwood.
In keeping with Patricia's wishes, she will be cremated with a private family service. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
