Mrs. Dorothy M. "Dottie" Bock

Dorothy M. “Dottie” (Graham) Bock, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, September 10, 2018 at her home in Morgantown. She was a former resident of Brown County.

She was born November 12, 1938, in Logan, Kentucky, to the late Charles Vernon and Oma May (Parks) Graham. She married Martin L. “Marty” Bock Sr. on May 29, 1976 in Greenfield.  He preceded her in death on October 31, 2013 after 37 loving years of marriage.

Dottie retired in 1995 from the Maintenance Department of Queens Printing Company in Indianapolis after 17 years of service. Prior to that, she worked as an Office Clerk for Periodical Publishers during the 1960’s and 70’s.

Dottie was a former member of the Women of the Moose in Indianapolis. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, reading mysteries and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dottie also enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, feeding the birds and vacationing in Florida and Kentucky.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Brown of Nineveh; step children, Naomi Sheets of Indianapolis, and Patricia Lee Bock of Nashville; siblings, Ed Graham of Brown County, Buddy Graham of Greenwood, Mary Basham, Gail Clausen and Debra Kinsey all of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Matthew (Mary) Wilson of Brown County, Kayla Brown of Brownsburg, Terry Tredway, Jeremy Tredway and Jeff Warren all of Brown County and Martin Lee Bock II of Florida; great grandchildren, Laura, Morgan and Genevieve Wilson all of Brown County and Vincent Tredway of Columbus.

Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Marty; son, Tony R. Brown; step sons, James Lee Bock and Martin Lee Bock Jr.; siblings, Gertie Henry, Sue Eckert, Ruby Graham, Charles and J.T. Graham.

A Celebration of Dottie’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
