Maurice Jones to me was my grandfather and he was the best i could ever ask for and he was a kind man who went to church until he couldn't he spent most of his remaining time in the house in bed because he wasn't able to get out much but i'm happy for him because i know he's no longer in pain and i know i will see him again and his legacy will live on through us, that's what got me through this.

What seems like a thousand lifetimes ago a bunch of kids from the Barnard family lived just up the road from the Jones family. The good times we spent together are happy memories. We are sorry that you all have said goodbye to Maurice, but we can see how much "Marcey" was loved and how much he loved his family. What a beautiful tribute and send off. Love to you all.

I remember my Little Brother... when he was brought home, I never had any idea he was on the way. There was 8 of us standing in a line wanting to hold him for a minute or so. Then he was big enough for the baby bed. Every time my sister passed by his bed he would holler "Eunie, Eunie ,get me, get me. Eunie." Eunice held him constantly after that. We go back a long way little brother. I am glad you have that old sting of death behind you and you are going to be well again. Love you bunches, Sister Hazel.
