In moments of sadness, I will forever be encouraged by the twinkling cadence of John David’s teasing laughter. He sprinkled joy and kindness into life and I will be forever grateful.

John was a good friend in high school. We went to an Indianapolis prom our Senior year. He ask me to take a relative of his so he could go with her friend. I always liked hanging with John because he was a lot of fun! It was alwYs good to see him at the BCHS alumni gathering. I will miss him ...really a good guy with a joyful heart!

The past few years we have had the pleasure and joy of having Dave and Sandy visit us on the shores of Lake Michigan. One of the reasons why their visit was so enjoyable was Dave's easy going personality. He was a fun person to be around. Dave had a real positive attitude and always looked on the bright side. He could dish out a good tease and at the same time accept it right back. He had a great sense of humor. Dave was not afraid to talk to a stranger and when he came in contact with a person he had a complement for them. This fine gentleman will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Sandy thank-you for bringing John David into our lives....with love Phil and Margaret.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard this is for the whole Ackerman family. I worked for Beulah as a teenager and I loved and respected her very much. John, Joe and Tim has an important place in my heart for all their kindness as well. May God Bless the entire family and my deepest regrets for your loss.
