Mr. Franklin D. "Don" Williamson

July 25, 1937 - May 26, 2018

Franklin D. “Don” Williamson, age 80, passed away Saturday evening, May 26, 2018 at his home in Martinsville.

He was born on July 25, 1937 in Martinsville to his parents, the late James Harvey and Gladys Eva (Haase) Williamson. Don was a 1955 graduate of Morgantown High School and went on to marry Letha M. Fisher on August 19, 1956 in Martinsville.

He retired in 2002 as a Telecommunications Engineer for several different phone companies for over 60 years.

Don enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, carpentry and wood working. He was a fan of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and CSI television shows. Don also enjoyed camping, coin collecting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Letha; children, Vickie (Garry) Graves and Donna (James) Clemens, both of Martinsville, Zenia M. (Tom) Richards of Trafalgar and Donald “Lee” Williamson of Franklin, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Don was preceded by his parents; siblings, Eva Sturgeon, Mary Pickerel and James Williamson.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown.

Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Don to the Morgan County 4-H, 180 S. Main Street Ste. 220 Martinsville, IN 46151.
