Miranda L. Dermanelian, age 25 passed away all too soon on Friday afternoon, March 14, 2014 at the IU Health – Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis and a former resident of Morgantown.
Miranda was born in Lubbock, TX on February 9, 1989 to her parents: Michael D. and Margie M. (McGuire) Dermanelian. She was a 2007 graduate of Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar. During high school she participated in varsity cheerleading and softball. Miranda went on to serve as a Private with the United States Army. After the service she graduated from Empire Cosmetology School in Indianapolis and has worked as a self-employed Cosmetologist for the past five years.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her children.
Miranda is survived by her children: Jalynne M. Dunn of Princes Lakes & Cameron A. Evans of Indianapolis; father: Michael D. (Ann) Dermanelian of Scottsdale, AZ; and her three sisters: Michaela A. Dermanelian of Alpha, IL, McKenzie E. Dermanelian of Camby, and Marissa L. Dermanelian of Phoenix, AZ. She will be remembered by her paternal grandfather: Dave H.T. Dermanelian of Phoenix, AZ; and a niece: Payten Krause of Alpha, IL.
She was preceded in death by her mother Margie, on December 5, 2006 and her maternal grandparents: Frank & Pauline McGuire; and paternal grandmother: Shirley J. Dermanelian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1008 McLary Road in Nashville. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown with graveside military rites presented by the Martinsville American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guards.
