Lisa S (Haywood) Smith

August 3, 1962 - September 30, 2015

Lisa S. (Haywood) Smith, age 53, passed away Wednesday morning, September 30, 2015 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis and a former resident of Brown County.

Lisa was born in Franklin on August 3, 1962, to her parents, the late Harry and Barbara (Burton) Haywood. She was a loving homemaker and previously worked as a receptionist for University Heights Health & Living Community in Greenwood.

Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family, riding motorcycles, camping and taking lighthouse tours. She will be remembered as a hard worker, for her cooking and baking, and her love for her family. Lisa was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Goul of Indianapolis, children: Robert Haywood of Brown County, James (Amy) Mosley of Franklin, John (Charlotte) Mosley of Columbus and Trisha (Jesse) McGuire of Edinburgh; siblings: Carol Haywood of Indianapolis, Timothy Haywood, Jack Haywood, Kenny (Teresa) Haywood, David (Angie) Haywood, all of Brown County and Johnny (Nancy) Haywood of Bloomfield; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Reita Dine, Michael and Dale Haywood; andgrandson, Jaxson Ray McGuire.

The Rev. Stan Loutner will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Spearsville Church of Christ Cemetery in Spearsville.

Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Lisa to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96 St. Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
