Lester M. Kean

Lester M. Kean, age 61, passed away Friday morning, June 2, 2017 at his residence in Martinsville.

Lester was born on November 19, 1955 in Franklin, to his parents, the late Willis and Ivie (Smith) Kean. He was a construction worker by trade.

Lester enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing his guitar and singing. He will be remembered as a collector of many things and for his story telling. Lester was loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all.

Lester is survived by his siblings, David Kean, Beverly Kean, Ramona Cave, Leona Baker, Albert Kean, Rusty Kean and Missy Kean all of Brown County and Mickey Kean of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Tom and Gary Kean.

In keeping with Lester’s wishes, he will be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.

My deepest sympathies for the family. Lester was always a sweet caring friend. He always made me feel safe when he was around. Although I haven't seen him in years I never forgot our friendship ❤ Flu high my friend!
