Julie Eddins Obituary

Julie A. (McQueary) Eddins, age 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday evening, August 29, 2016 at her home in Brown County.

She was born in Columbus on September 8, 1956. Julie was a 1974 graduate of Brown County High School and went on to study nursing at Indiana University. She retired in 2016 as an Assistant Special Education Teacher for Brown County Schools after 23 years of service.

Julie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ronald D. Eddins, whom she married on June 25, 1977 at the Becks Grove Christian Church in Brown County. She is also survived by her loving mother, Phyllis (Malan) McQueary of Columbus, children, Jeremy (Michelle) Eddins, Sarah (Josh) Hawley and Josh (Amanda) Eddins and John Eddins all of Brown County and Luke (Rachel) Eddins of Columbus. Julie will be remembered by her siblings, Janet Walsh of Bradenton, FL, Jean (Dale) Wirthlin of Cincinnati, OH, Jeff McQueary of Franklin and Justin McQueary of Brown County; and grandchildren, Mykal, Hailee, Cameron, Charly, Seth, Carter, Sloan, Reese, Gavin, Colin and Porter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McQueary.

Julie was a member of the New Life Community Church for the past seven years and the Becks Grove Christian Church both of Brown County. Julie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, reading her Bible and Christian stories. Julie cherished her time with all her students at school and enjoyed serving as a Sunday School Teacher at New Life.

The Rev. Tim Conboy will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the New Life Community Church, 1450 N. State Road 135 in Nashville. Friends may visit on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church and from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
