Johnny L. Conway, age 44, passed away Thursday evening, August 4, 2016 at the IU Health – Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Bloomington.
He was born on April 18, 1972 in Franklin, to the late Kenneth G. and Elizabeth A. (Hoskins) Conway. Johnny was a 1991 graduate of Indian Creek High School. He previously worked in the Maintenance Dept. for TOA USA in Mooresville and for McFarling Foods in Indianapolis in the Shipping and Receiving Dept.
Johnny loved spending time with his family, especially his daughters. He was a fan of NASCAR with Dale Earnhart Sr. being his favorite driver. Johnny was also a fan of Star Wars and the Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by his daughters, Courtney and Allison Conway both of Greenwood, siblings, Barbara (Dale) Burton of Lakeland, FL, Chris (Rosemary) Conway of Trafalgar, Carol (Scott) Willard, Paula (Jim) Baker and Ronnie (Melinda) Conway all of Nineveh; and several nieces and nephews.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ricky Conway.
The Rev. Tom Knight will conduct a funeral service at noon on Wednesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
