Dear Sherry and Ruth, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have lots of memories of George beginning when I was quite young. I love the photo you used for his obituary. I look forward to seeing you but really regret the reason. I pray that God grants you peace during this difficult time. Love, Mickey

In 1952 at Helmsburg grade school {1st grade} George {at the time Crawford} and I became best friends and stayed so for the early years of school. In time we went our own ways, but you never forget your first friends. I learned of his passing on a Facebook site and {though you do not know who I am} felt I needed to say something to someone. He was a good friend and I am sure a good husband and father. Prayers for peace in your hearts.
