Elizabeth A (Hoskins) Conway

Elizabeth A. (Hoskins) Conway age 71 passed away Sunday morning, May 20, 2012 at her home in Trafalgar. By her side was her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Kenneth G. 'Kenny" Conway whom she married on February 21, 1956 in Springfield, TN.

She was born September 21, 1940 in Macon, TN to the late George W. & Etta Ethel (Hauskins) Hoskins. Elizabeth was the loving mother to Barbara (Dale) Burton of Lakeland, FL, Carol (Scott) Willard & Paula (Jim) Baker both of Nineveh, Chris (Rosemary) Conway of Trafalgar, Ronny (Melinda) Conway of Whiteland and Johnny Conway of Franklin. She will be remembered by her sister: Annette Rumble of Dixon Springs, TN; 1 niece: Lisa Williams of Goodlettsville, TN; 15 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by a son: Ricky Conway; two brothers: John Wesley & George Jr. Hoskins.

She was a homemaker and past member of the Fair Haven Christian Church in Franklin. Elizabeth enjoyed working in her garden, reading her Bible and loved listening to country and blue grass music. She was known for her cooking and canning and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

The Rev. Stanley Icenogle will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 am Wednesday at Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
