I voted for Donna during our 7th-8th grade cheerleader tryouts. She was elected Caption of the three-girl cheering squad by one vote. I thought if I hadn't voted for her, we'd been co-captains! Isn't it incredible what goes through our minds when sadness hits us? Each of us deals with it in their own way. Philippians 4:6,7 is such a comforting scripture. Basically, it assures us that regardless how sad, afraid, mad, whatever...we may be, the peace of GOD that "excels all thought" will protect our minds and hearts and help us rise above it.
