Dolly M (Pointer) Fox

Dolly M. (Pointer) Fox, age 96 passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. She was a life-long resident of Brown County.

Dolly was born August 30, 1917, in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, to the late Archie and Mitilda (Kinnard) Pointer. She married Willard Fox on October 6, 1938 in Brown County. He preceded her in death in April 1979 after 42 devoted years of marriage.

Dolly was a member of the Hickory Ridge Senior Center in Brown County and was a member of several country music stars' fan clubs. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Dolly loved to listen to country music singer, Vince Gill andlooked forward to her trips to Tennessee for Nashville's Country Music Fan Fair.

Dolly is survived by her sons: Roland, wife Brenda Fox of Brown County and Tony, wife Linda Fox of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and3 great-great grandchildren.

Dolly is preceded in death by her husband Willard Fox; three sons: Junior Fox, Charles Fox and Phillip Fox; two sisters; and one brother.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, July 25th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Goshen Cemetery in Brown County.
