Dianna Burkhart

Dianna (Fowler) Burkhart, age 68, passed away Thursday morning, February 19, 2015 at her home in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin and Morgantown.

Dianna was born May 6, 1946, in Bowling Green, KY to the Asberry and Harriett (Duhammell) Fowler. She was a 1964 graduate of Trafalgar High School. Dianna married William L. Burkhart on September 13, 1964 in Morgantown. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1986 after 21 loving years of marriage.

Dianna was a homemaker and raised her two loving children: D. Michelle Burkhart and William “Billy” Burkhart II who survive. Dianna enjoyed working on puzzles, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She also loved watching and feeding hummingbirds.

Dianna is survived by her mother; Harriett Fowler; daughter: D. Michelle Burkhart of Morgantown; son: William “Billy” Burkhart II of Franklin; four grandchildren:and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father: Asberry Fowler; husband: William Burkhart; and step brother: Heath Fowler.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday February 24th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown.
