Diana F. (Sizemore) Howard, age 66, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, July 14, 2015 at her home in Trafalgar. She was a resident of Brown County.
Diana was born on August 16, 1948 in Manchester, Kentucky, to the late David and Georgia Mae (Chrisleab) Sizemore. She attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis and went on to marry Manson E. Howard Jr. on August 21, 1966 in Crow's Nest, near Indianapolis. He survives after 48 devoted years of marriage.
Diana worked as a cook and dietary aid for many of the area nursing homes. She enjoyed playing online poker, bingo and enjoyed the Hoosier Lottery scratch off tickets. Diana loved listening to country music and watching the grandchildren play outdoor sport activities, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her entire family.
Diana is survived by her husband, Manson, children: David (Samantha) Howard of Trafalgar, Viola (Brian) Sheckles of Prince's Lakes, Dottie (Randy) McCray of Shelbyville, Dean (Ella) Howard and DeWayne (Holly) Howard both of Prince's Lakes; grandchildren: Jeffrey, Dustin, Katisha, Jordan, and Logan Howard, Amber, Brian, and Lillee Sheckles, Diana, Randi, and Clayton McCray, Casey, Lena and Nicole Howard, Eric, James, Xander, Torren and Cassandra Howard, 29 great-grandchildren; sisters: Sandra Finley and Rose Ann Wilkerson both of Brown County and Vicki Hill of Ohio.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Leon, David and James Sizemore; grandson: Thomas Evans; and great-granddaughter Haylie Cloud.
The Rev. Cory Joy will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday July 16th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call on Thursday from 11a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Brown County Memorial Park in Nashville.
