David L. Fleener, age 54 passed away Sunday morning, June 8, 2014 at his home in northern Brown County.
He was born September 15, 1959 in Franklin to the late Kenneth B. and Sharon (Eastridge) Fleener. David worked as a self-employed construction contractor. He enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and working in his vegetable garden. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and was a fan of NASCAR with his favorite driver being, Kyle Busch.
David is survived by his children: Joshua Fleener of Kansas, Justice Fleener of North Carolina and Jennifer Fleener of Indianapolis. He will be remembered by his siblings: Mona (Terry) Shake of Speedway, Cricket (Chris) Anderson of Bargersville, Paula Embry of Speedway, Paulette (Jack) Carter of Fayetteville, TN, Lola (Dickie) Key of Nineveh and Paul Michael (Becky) Embry of Ratcliff, KY; and three grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his mother: Sharon Truelove; father: Kenneth B. Fleener; and a brother: Chuckie Fleener.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
