Charles M "Chuck" Hayden Jr

October 5, 1960 - March 6, 2015

Charles M. "Chuck" Hayden Jr., age 54, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015, at his residence in Trafalgar.

He was born in Maryland on October 5, 1960, to his parents, Charles M. and Earlene A. (Donnelly) Hayden. Chuck was a 1978 graduate of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. He married Darlene K. (Hiles) Hayden on December 1, 1985 at the Bethany Christian Church in Anderson. She loving survives after 29 devoted years of marriage.

He is also survived by his mother: Earlene A. Jones of Trafalgar; loving children: Charles M. "Chuck" Hayden III and Holli A. (Shannon L. Graves) Hayden both of Morgantown and Danielle K. (Coty) Thomas of Greenwood. He will be remembered by his siblings: Lisa A. (Cary) Davis of Indianapolis and Elaine (Mike) Geyer of Greenfield; mother in law: Marvella A. Hiles of Anderson; brother in law: Richard W. (Debbie) Hiles of Anderson; grandchildren: Haeleigh, Meleah, Callie, Elijah, Hayden, Aubrey and Landon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father: Charles M. Hayden; step-father: William "Bill" Jones; father in law: James E. Hiles and brother in law: Russell A. Hiles.

He recently worked for Indiana University Health as an HVAC Technician for nine years. Prior to that, he held the same position with Williams Comfort Air in Indianapolis. Chuck was a member of the First Christian Church of Morgantown and the Kiwanis Club of Franklin. He will be remembered for his love of his family, especially his grandchildren. Chuck enjoyed photography and wood working.

The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a funeral service on Wednesday at noon at Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.

Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Chuck to the First Christian Church of Morgantown "Building Fund", PO Box 306, Morgantown, IN 46160 or the Trafalgar Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 346, Trafalgar, IN 46181.
