Brian M. Kennett

October 25, 1961 - September 21, 2017

Brian M. Kennett, age 55, passed away all too soon on Thursday afternoon, September 21, 2017 at his home in Morgantown.

 

He was born October 25, 1961 in Indianapolis to his parents, Charles M. and Beverly A. (Hercamp) Kennett. Brian was a 1980 graduate of Indian Creek High School. He married Judith L.  “Judy” (Warren) Kennett on June 18, 1988 in Martinsville.  She lovingly survives after 29 devoted years of marriage.

 

Brian is also survived by his mother, Beverly A. Kennett of Morgantown; children, Scott (Jennifer) Kennett of Columbus and Randi (Matt) Ennis of Whiteland; siblings, Rick A. (Linda) Kennett of Brookville, OH and Linda Satter of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Gabe & Charlee Kennett and Wren Ennis.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; and brothers, James E. “Jim” Kennett and Aaron T. Kennett; brother in law, Gary Satter; and granddaughter, Scotlyn Kennett.

 

Brian worked as a Mechanical Insulator and was the owner and operator of JR Insulators. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church in Morgantown. Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting and umpiring little league baseball. He was a fan of Purdue University athletics and enjoyed watching Fox News and ESPN. Brian loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

 

The Revs. Ray Unger and Matt Satter will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery, 5002 E. Mahalasville Road in Morgantown. Friends may visit from noon until service time on Thursday at the cemetery. A dinner will follow the graveside service at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
